A bridge over a river, clouds above.

Inscription in Bengali and English:

৫ পাঁচ টাকা FIVE TAKA যমুনা বহুমুখী সেতু (5 five taka FIVE TAKA Multi-purpose bridge Yamuna).

Issue name side (obverse)

Shapla (water lily) on water, framed by a wreath. On top there is a bird and 4 stars.

Inscription in Bengali: বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংক (BANK OF BANGLADESH).
