Scalloped coin Bahamas 10 Cents – different types
The Bahamas 10 cent coin is non-round (12 rounded prongs) and has been minted from copper-nickel alloy since 1966.

Value side (reverse)
Two fish (Bonefish – Albulla)
1966-2005 – between seaweed;
since 2005 – above seaweed.
Inscription:
1966-1973 – date at top, “TEN CENTS” at bottom;
1973-2005 – “TEN CENTS” at bottom;
since 2005 – “10 CENTS” at top.
Side with the issuer’s name (obverse)
1966-1970 – Bust of Queen Elizabeth II and the inscription around the rim “ELIZABETH II BAHAMA ISLANDS”;
1971-1973 – Bust of Queen Elizabeth II and the inscription around the rim “COMMONWEALTH OF THE BAHAMA ISLANDS”, below “ELIZABETH II”;
1973 – Bust of Queen Elizabeth II and the inscription around the rim “THE COMMONWEALTH OF THE BAHAMA ISLANDS”, below “ELIZABETH II”;
since 1974 – Coat of Arms and the inscription around the rim “COMMONWEALTH OF THE BAHAMAS”, below the date.
