Chile

I present to your attention the second part of the series of reviews devoted to the coins of Latin American states formed after the collapse of the Spanish colonial empire. The Viceroyalty of Peru included the territories of the modern South American states of Peru and Chile, as well as part of Bolivia. On the territory of Chile was located the Captaincy General of the same name, formally subordinate to the Viceroy of Peru.
